Welcome to St. Melany Byzantine Catholic Church
St. Melany's is an Eastern Catholic Church of the ancient Byzantine tradition.  Our liturgy, spirituality, discipline and theology are Orthodox in practice.  Our church is in full communion with the Bishop of Rome, Pope Benedict XVI and is under the jurisdiction of the Most Reverend Gerald N. Dino, Bishop of the Eparchy of Van Nuys.  All Catholics may fulfill their Sunday obligation by participating in our Divine Liturgy.

We are a welcoming and ethnically diverse church where families, couples and singles of all ages find their spiritual home.  At our liturgy, you will experience the timeless beauty of Byzantine worship and encounter the living, changeless faith handed down from the Apostles.  We invite you to learn more about our church by exploring our website, coming to meet our pastor, Fr.
